No Hands / Transformational Touch massage also encompasses the vital concept of “Shi Zen” which is an ancient Japanese energy healing process.

The approach focuses on the mind, body, spirit, and balance of the skilled practitioner as well as the client. It is also about the balance of the healing energy that flows between the practitioner and the client. The aim is to create the power of “Healing Synergy” through touch.

No Hands / Transformational massage involves a level of disciplined training of both the body and mind that is more akin to martial arts training than is found in most healing therapies.

You will be invited into our relaxed and calming space and during your consultation we will discuss how you would like to feel after your treatment and how you would like the touch to feel for example this could slow and gentle or deep.

There are four elements to this technique incorporating the essence and the energy of Air, Earth, Fire and Water.

Each element massage works differently with your body’s systems. Each element gives your body a chance to re-balance itself.

The intention Is to affect your structure (Physical), your Meridians (energy), your mood (emotional), your mental (Mind) and the very core of your being (Spirit).

The Air Massage

Sometimes we need calm and stillness.

A great deal of illness is a result of absolute exhaustion and burn out. At this point we could feel we have no energy, cold and weary.

To recover we need calmness and gentleness the Air Massage will help you reconnect to yourself and increase your energy flow giving the body time to and space to repair its self and trigger the body’s own powerful self-healing energies.

There will be no speaking as both the practitioner and client would be immersed in the powerful and healing stillness of the Air Massage.

The Fire Massage

This is a powerful releasing treatment.

A great deal of structural imbalance and muscular pain is simply the result of accumulated tension. We may feel this is typically in our shoulders, back and neck. This blocks our energy, so we often feel tired for no good reason.

This vigorous massage will loosen joints and stretch the muscles into the natural elasticity. It will zap blocked energy and re-energise your whole being.

This treatment has a wide variety of speeds and dept, mulching and releasing these tight muscles.

The Fire treatment is often the choice when you feel you need to wake up your energy.

While some of the massage is slow and deep at other times it is fast and vigorous.

The Water Massage

This is a very powerful massage for unblocking the flow of energy in our body.

A great deal of illness is a result of stress, pure and simple.

We become tense and tight, and our energies become blocked and stagnant.

The Water element allows our energy to flow again. Almost most illnesses will have some kind of “Loss of Flow” going on.

When we lose this sense of flow we become mentally and spiritually uptight and generally know we need to take a chill pill.

The deep and powerful Water Massage is the perfect way to soothe and destress. It allows energy to flow across the mind, body, and spirit. It is probably one of the most psychologically powerful treatments. One reason for this is the impact that gentle touch has been found to have on the trauma centres of the brain through recently discovered C-Tactile neurons. Another reason is the soothing effect that touch can have on the important Ventral Vegas Nerve, the nerve that enables us to feel safe and reduces the state of agitation.

The Earth Massage

Uses deep compression – sponging into the tissue and releasing very slowly. Reconnects us with ourselves and back to the ground.
